Project Overview

The residential complex on Traian Grozăvescu Street is a contemporary addition to Brașov’s evolving urban fabric. Designed as a mid-rise, multi-family development, the project introduces modern architectural language while promoting a sense of community and urban greenery. The building’s composition emphasizes clean lines, material contrast, and spatial efficiency, offering residents both privacy and shared outdoor experiences.

Architectural Concept

The architectural concept centers on creating a harmonious urban living environment that balances density with openness. A clean, rectilinear form is softened by warm wood accents and lush landscaping, creating a dialogue between built space and nature. The façade design features a rhythmic arrangement of balconies and large glazed openings, providing visual depth and allowing abundant natural light to penetrate the interiors. Materially, the building employs a contrast of white render, black framing elements, and natural textures—producing a refined, modern aesthetic while maintaining a welcoming, residential character.

Spatial Organization

The building is organized around a central landscaped courtyard that functions as a communal green space and visual anchor. Apartments are arranged along the perimeter, benefiting from both courtyard and street-facing views. Each unit includes a generous balcony, acting as an extension of the interior and enhancing the connection to the outdoors. Ground-floor units enjoy direct access to semi-private gardens, while upper-level apartments benefit from panoramic views and recessed balconies. Shared amenities are located at the base of the building to activate the courtyard and encourage resident interaction.

Design Objectives

This project aims to set a new standard for residential developments in Brașov—balancing aesthetic refinement, spatial efficiency, and community-centric planning within the urban context.

Sustainability Features

Sustainability was integrated through passive design strategies, including natural ventilation, daylight optimization, and locally sourced materials. The ground floor hosts shared amenities, fostering an inclusive and functional living environment.
